SMALL COLLEGE TOWN WITH BIG OPPORTUNITIES
The University of Mississippi was established in 1848 and since then, both the town of Oxford and the institution have served as a beacon of progress and a haven for academics, intellectuals and knowledge-seekers.

Meet Ingrid, Integrated Marketing Communications Major from Venezuela
In 2018, Ingrid was inducted into the UM Hall of Fame—one of the highest honors a student at Ole Miss can receive. Recognized for her academic work at the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, her assistance as an orientation leader and coordinator and her involvement on Rebel Radio, Ingrid has a bright future ahead. She plans to get her master’s in integrated marketing communications and continue on to become a college professor.
